The Cultural Foundation of Harrison County, established in 1972, is dedicated to enriching our community by fostering a vibrant arts environment. We believe that the arts are essential for a well-rounded life and play a crucial role in economic development.

We serve as a bridge between the communities in West Virginia’s Harrison County and its artistic organizations. Through a variety of initiatives:

• Fund the Arts: We provide annual grants to local arts organizations, fueled by endowment income, donations, memberships, sponsorships, and grant writing.
• Champion the Arts: We advocate for the importance of arts education and programs by collaborating with the Board of Education and local arts groups.
• Enrich Our Community: We organize and support events and performances that raise public awareness and appreciation for diverse art forms.
