We Need Your Support!

Join Us in Making a Difference
The Cultural Foundation of Harrison County provides support for community arts programs, arts-related scholarships, cultural and artistic performances and exhibits, and more. We do this because we know that the wellbeing of our citizens, our communities, and our economy is directly connected to a vibrant art and culture ecosystem.
The Cultural Foundation seeks to expand and strengthen that ecosystem. To do so, we need the support of the citizens, businesses, non-profits, and governmental entities of Harrison County.
There are so many ways you can help us make Harrison County a destination for arts and culture.
Here are just a few:

Volunteer Your Time
- Would you consider serving as an ad hoc member of one of the Cultural
- Foundation’s committees?
- Are you interested in serving as a future member of the Board of Directors?
- Would you like to volunteer at a Cultural event or activity in Harrison County?
If so, let us know your interests by contacting us HERE.

Contribute to our Community Art Project Grants Program
Each year, the Cultural Foundation distributes grants to non-profits, schools, businesses and individuals for art and culture-related activities. The number of grants and the size of the grants is dependent on our ability to raise the funds that we then redistribute. If you would like your contribution to be used for our Community Arts Project (CAP) grants program, contact us HERE.

Sponsor a Scholarship
Each year, the Cultural Foundation provides graduating Harrison County high school seniors who will be pursuing an art-related course of study in college with a $1,000 scholarship that may be renewed for up to four years if they remain enrolled full-time and in good standing in an arts-related college program. If you would like to contribute to the Cultural Foundation’s scholarship program or would like to establish an additional scholarship in your name or the name of someone else, contact us HERE.

Sponsor an Event
The Cultural Foundation occasionally host events such as Artists After Hours, an Annual Public Meeting, The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, etc. If you or your company would like to sponsor a Cultural Foundation event, contact us HERE. Your sponsorship will be recognized in the promotion of the event and at the event itself.

Support Our Operating Expenses
Although the Cultural Foundation is an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff, there are operating expenses that are incurred. An unrestricted contribution allows the Board to use those funds for whatever is needed to keep the Cultural Foundation and its work effective and impactful. If you would like to make an unrestricted gift, contact us HERE.

Leave a Legacy Gift to the Cultural Foundation
Whether it is leaving a bequest to the Cultural Foundation in your will, making the Cultural Foundation the beneficiary of your life insurance, donating a gift of securities, or making a significant contribution to our endowment fund, there are numerous ways to have a lasting positive impact on Harrison County’s art and culture ecosystem.
