The Wall is The Cultural Foundation of Harrison County’s newest public art initiative, and it takes shape at Stone Tower Brews on Jerry Dove Drive. This spot is conveniently located and frequented by a large number of patrons who now will have the opportunity to gaze upon local artwork as they nosh on a sammy and sip on a lavender haze latte. What could be better!?

The Wall’s featured artworks will rotate every three months, so stop in regularly and watch it update—and for totally new vibes. The art on the wall is for purchase! Use this key (below) for information and pricing as well as the bios of the artists currently on display. You can purchase at the STB register by naming the artwork you are interested in. All proceeds go to Stone Tower Brews and to the artists. Thank you for shopping local!

Bio
Andrew was born and raised in Canaan Valley, West Virginia, and currently lives in Shinnston, West Virginia, where he and his wife are raising their two children. His work is shaped by everyday life—late nights, music, and the quiet or loud moments that exist in between. Much of Andrew’s practice takes place late at night—usually between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m., when the world slows down and there is space to think and feel without interruption.

Artist Statement
I am a self-taught artist working primarily with digital media. My practice is rooted in experimentation, intuition, and emotional awareness rather than formal training or pre-planned imagery. I do not begin with an image or a fixed intention; instead, each piece develops gradually in response to music, time, and internal state. Influenced by my mother’s watercolor work and the graphite sketches of my grandfather, I am drawn to non-representational forms that carry memory and emotion without explanation. Color functions as an emotional presence—sometimes calm, sometimes tense, sometimes unresolved—while shapes and lines emerge through layering and repetition. Music, often ambient, instrumental, or post-rock, sets the pace of the work. These pieces are not meant to be interpreted literally, but experienced, offering presence, emotional honesty, and openness rather than a single meaning.
